Article 2 of the constitution is all about Executive orders and when they're appropriate.
When congress and governmental bodies, such as this case the FTC, calls on the president to issue an executive order, that is the most appropriate use of an executive order, a function utilized by nearly all presidents dating back to Washington.
It's not ruling through executive orders, it's using executive orders when appropriate and this is a wholly appropriate situation.
We can't really just vote for better representatives anymore because the corporations have captured control of the political process with PACs.
The only candidates that can even have a chance of running a winning campaign are the ones with the biggest pockets, and those individuals tend to be candidates that work solely in their business donors interests.
We need to make a systemic change to allow for the system to proceed as it was designed as the games been twisted. Repealing Citizens United and outlawing/reforming lobbying laws would help, but corporations and the politicians guilty of abusing the system wouldn't ever want it to change.
Their livelihoods depend on it.
Can we get campaign finance reform or are we just going to ignore the blatant power imbalance of lobbying and political action committees in the political process.
Fair elections shouldn't be judged based on their dollar amounts, but looky here, that's what this whole article is about. More money on my side wins, yay! Good thing my great grandparents exploited more people when I was young and I have all the money in the world to manipulate people!
🤮
Democratic and Independent members of the house have called on Biden to enact an executive order, to fix the price fixing that the grocery stores are complicit in perpetuating.
Maybe if Biden did what his party was asking for instead of resting on his laurels and coasting along, he would have more support. Instead of thinking he can predict public opinion, maybe actually listen to it.
The job doesn't end because you're tired of how hard it was, and is.
What if it was kept as a trophy?

Look up Project Olympus and Israel's use of AI (Lavender/The Gospel). Many inside the company have good reason to believe that Google/Amazon is powering the AI that is leading to the indiscriminate killings.
It's a thinly veiled attempt by Meta to silence their critics and to divert attention from the organizations that are suing Meta, mainly the school districts and also state attorney generals, as their platforms are accused of facilitating abuse of children and intentionally creating addictive products.
If this succeeds, they will have a vast new data source to exploit and even more users they can not so subtly nudge to their other products, placing them in harms way in the name of profit.
They will inevitably encourage the students whose classrooms they overtake to support Facebook and Instagram, replenishing their depleting user base in the interest of satisfying their advertisers who are also suing their platforms for seemingly becoming overrun by bot activity.
Health and education is not the goal, but data acquisition and user growth is. They've already announced they will be taking "anonymous" usage data from their Oculus headsets, which I wholly believe is a lie as Meta has shown time and time again, is their modus operandi.
Personalized data is far more valuable than anonymous data, and they will secretly choose that route as they have in the past. The data collected is without a doubt, being used to train their AI systems.
