    Looking for Canadian Communities

    I'm new to Lemmy and still learning about all this fediverse stuff. Is there a way to search for Canadian-specific communities?

    A lot of our Canadian media is owned by US billionaires and does not represent your fellow Canadian's opinions.

  • I have always found the CBC to be reliable as they will post corrections when they get their facts wrong.

    I tried Ground News for awhile but found it just as easy to compare headlines between mainstream and independent news outlets to figure out the biases. Though I agree it is an excellent source.
