yeah, it's very difficult. even in google searches, the links come up and I then realize how much I depend on reddit for google searches.

Elons probably tired of everyone blocking him. If everyone blocks him, then no one can with this new “feature” lol
They fixed a lot of the technical issues but the original things they promised like multiple decision paths in their old trailers didn’t make it. Understandably so I think.
What happens in the event that a Lemmy instance goes down?
Basically the title. I’m here from the Reddit exodus but I’ve been on mastodon before. But I’m not sure what happens when an instance goes offline or goes down, will I have to make a new account on a different instance instead? Do I lose all my data? Thank you :)
So cool. This post helped me figure out how to get in touch with other communities in other instances. I thought I’d have to create accounts for each instance. So thank you :)
