This argument is the same as "Lemmy=tankies".
So i guess were all tankies because were on here.
Im just a noob thats interested. I havent tried it yet. But ive found a couple guides.
Check out the self hosting communities. Ill see if i can find the one im thinking of but Lemmy also has an official guide in the documentation.
Ah, so some websites and apps will employ methods of data collection to learn things about you and then either use that information to feed you ads or sell it to other companies (or both). A lot of us prefer to keep what we can private and not be tracked so thoroughly.
Companies will build profiles on you that learn your likes, dislikes, political leanings, relationship status, gender, race, health issues, etc etc.
Even if some people are fine with being tracked another issue is that many companies have poor security and your data can be stolen in breaches by bad actors or sold to bad actors.
Threads big and scary. Smol bois in the Fediverse have been discussing preemptively defederating from Threads due to how big and scary it is in an attempt to protect themselves and the Fediverse as a whole.
Here you can see all the requests it is making.

It might be the worst app i have installed in this regard.
Im using the Tracker Control app to see (and block) trackers, ads, etc.
EDIT: Some say this is due to visiting links within the app and using the in-app browser. I will open links on the external browser and find out.
Edit2: I disabled the in-app browser and reset the Tracker Control findings but am still finding lots of trackers according to Tracker Control.
Connect was my favorite until i realized its absolutely riddled with trackers. RIP. Currently trying Wefwef but ill probably come back to Jerboa.
Excited to try Boost when it releases.
I'm from RIF. I'm on Jerboa and i still haven't tried the other ones because I've been doing other stuff. Lol
I'm Android but i think a couple are on both.

Edit: Connect was my favorite until i realized its absolutely riddled with trackers. RIP. Currently trying Wefwef but ill probably come back to Jerboa.

I think it's fine for other people to be female if that's what they believe but personally i don't believe that way and am therefore not female.
It's enjoyable even if you aren't an HP fan.
I really enjoyed combat and the puzzles even if the dialog was a bit much for me.
Beem thinking about it also. The discount is solid and it's still a good option even compared to the competitors.
My location spawn was right by an identifiable sign. Lol
If I'm switching soon anyway should i choose another service to avoid centralization or should i go ahead and use this since I'm already bought-in to the ecosystem?
Because then it would become normalized. These people want to be extraordinary.
Froot of the Loom?
Why would you segment the already-small motorcycle group?
1994 KDX200
Here's a picture of me riding my '94 KDX200. Every year there is a big "dual sport" trail ride that utilizes a lot of private land in the area. It's good fun. This picture was last year.
Fediverse.party
I think that due to the recent popularity gain of Lemmy and Kbin that it would be good to include information and servers on the Fediverse.party site. When i was cruising around looking at Fediverse info i went there a few times but right now Lemmy and Kbin aren't mentioned at all.
Edit: would also be great to have a section on Fedi.tips! That site was invaluable when reading about the Fediverse.
Rain Drifting!
Got to do a bunch of rain drifting at the last event. I love rain drifting because i can do laps alllll daaaay looooong on only a single pair of tires. Sure, dry drifting is faster and more aggressive but i would rather do a hundred laps!
My car is filthy. I still haven't washed it...
