I personally love the games; they provide a satisfying gameplay loop of murdering hoardes of enemies to get better equipment so you can kill even stronger enemies. Using new builds and discovering new attack combinations/synergies is a lot of fun as well!
Diablo 1 has a great atmosphere but is pretty lacking by modern game standards. If you decide to play it, I'd recommend adding the Hellfire expansion so you get an extra class and the ability to sprint.
Diablo 2 is brilliant and lets you party up with up to 7 people instead of the max of 4 in D3 and D4. It's definitely a tougher game compared to the newer releases.
Diablo 3 is a fantastic game now that they've added the Adventure mode and rifts which make it way easier to tackle quests and grind for gear. It's also almost limitless on its difficulty unless you invest hundreds of hours into a character.
I've been jamming on Diablo 4 since it came out, and it could work out to being the best in the series; however, it's clear that it has a bit of growing to do. The skills are fun and fair though, and the five classes are diverse enough to give you plenty to chew on as you discover your preferred play style.
Obviously I love them, but I could see how others might find them repetitive. I'd snag D3 on sale (or it's probably discounted now) and decide if you feel like D4 would be worth $70.
It's quite clearly the pound of British pounds. With a pound of feathers, one may feel a sense of 'freedom' as if they could attach the feathers to their bodies or clothes and fly away. A pound of British pounds carries the baggage of capitalism; the holder will not feel the sense of weightlessness, but rather the incessant need of more. You're gonna carry that weight.
I know what you mean, but even the idea of "getting into Star Citizen" doesn't make sense to me because, well...what in the world is there really to get into beyond the few demos they released?
For the one other person who might be wondering, the game works on CFW as well!
I might be in the minority, but I really think a trade for Siakam is something that could move the needle and be exciting for us. Obviously he isn't worth an overpay like Masai is asking for, and I'd hope that they would work out an extension deal if we traded for him. But if we could swing Ant, Little, and the #23 or something like that, I think he would make a bigger impact than a lot of people think.
It would have to be a multi-team deal for sure. Spurs aren't missing out on Wemby, and Charlotte would likely want to stay young instead of giving up Scoot or Miller for an overpaid Beal. That leaves Portland, no way we want Beal over whoever falls to us either.
I would love to see a new Skies of Arcadia game on modern hardware!
Planning on sticking around! I'm losing RiF and Jerboa seems to work well enough; hopefully it continues to improve as the platform continues to get more popular. I'll likely still check on Reddit for certain communities as they develop here, but otherwise I'm digging Lemmy and would love to see it grow!
It's insane both that Zion is on the market at all, and that there isn't really a good estimate on what his value is. Whatever team winds up with him gets a player who was the undisputed first pick of his draft class and had been hailed as the future of the NBA, but also an incredibly fragile player who's playstyle requires him to be physical.
Seems like one of the biggest gamble trades in a long time.
It'd be nice if there was some sort of agreement than he'd extend with us past this season before we traded the 3. That's really my only concern, but I'm a trade the pick stan.
For the zero people curious, yes, it runs perfectly as a regular GameBoy Color game and should run on homebrew and retro handhelds!
While he's probably right, the blackout is giving Reddit users the chance to return to old sources of news and entertainment, or encouraging them to try new communities like Lemmy. Ideally the blackouts continue, but I think the biggest threat to Reddit is a long-game when other alternatives become viable.
Man I definitely need to download this when I get home today!
I feel like Kyrie would be one of the worst fits in the league to follow Heat culture.
Congrats Denver! Love seeing a small market team win it all, very happy for both Murray and Jokic.
The only time pouring cereal into milk is viable is when you have extra milk after finishing your cereal and are still hungry. I refuse to believe in any other way!
This bed is adorable! I can't imagine my car tucking himself in that thing though, he doesn't even use standard cat beds we've bought in the past.
Maybe he's just protesting the lack of covers!
I think Blizz is still doing PvE in a similar vein as OW1's PvE events but utilizing some of what they worked on, but there won't be a full-fledged story mode for PvE anymore.
Man I'm so excited for this! I missed the original; the name never really struck me as interesting which made it blend in with all of the shovelware that plagued the DS. Really excited for it to have a second chance at life on Switch!
I never really used Twitter to begin with, minus to follow some news, protests, and a few NBA players. I wouldn't mind Twitter having some competition though so I could drop it entirely!
