I mean no hate on anyone for having a fetish but I agree. Tbh, one of the reasons I like hentai is not for the anime/art style aspect (I don't even watch anime and it's a struggle trying to keep up with context with these characters, lol). It's just because it's drawn and there's no possible exploitation. I still do watch porn but I try and stay away from studios as much as possible.
Anyway that's relevant because for me I want it to have at least some form of connection to reality in it, a lot of hentai doesn't (why impossibly huge futa dicks don't get me off much either lol).
I don't think there's much of a shift though tbh. Hentai has always been really "out there" and exaggerated since the beginning. You just have to look for good stuff and be discerning. And as you say it is annoying that small tit hentai is almost exclusively loli or at least questionable.
They are, but unfortunately, they're convenient as they're treated equivalently to images. So anywhere you can see an image, you can see an animated gif. Its kinda frustrating they haven't come up with an equivalent format that uses an actual video encoding instead of literally just raw frames lol.
Fuck, that sucks (for that mod, idk if it was you or just copy pasting). It sucks but you need to have good opsec around these things. I'd say one of the most important things is don't include your face (or tattoos, if they're obvious to your friends/family and visible) in any photo to a stranger. If things were ever getting serious with someone and you wanted to go further, bare minimum is video chat, if they repeatedly say no they're most likely a scammer/catfish, or otherwise not really serious and worth being with.
My gf almost got scammed, she was talking to someone, generic photo, searched reverse image search and nothing which is a good sign, (could have been AI, thinking about it) but then she randomly just asks if she wants a job (employment scam).

I have a kind of different perspective or opinion to a lot of others. I'm not a furry btw. I think a lot do involve sexuality in some way (even if its just fantasy or drawings, you really can't have sex in those costumes, lol). There is nothing at all wrong with this. Obviously, the people going to the cons, etc do the sex stuff on the down low, much like how you don't advertise your kinks in public due to the potential for backlash. Its also entirely possible those involved for sex have no desire to dress up and go to a convention or vice versa.
It could potentially be because being a furry is such a huge part of some people's lives, its just a natural extension of that. It could just be the rule 34 aspect, where if something exists porn will be made of it.
Anyway, most importantly, contrary to polite society's belief that everyone should be the same (straight, christian style, hole in the bedsheet sex) there's nothing wrong with it with the usual caveats of consent and morality (all parties consenting, no underage, no literal animals)
