What’s the point of fast kickoff if everyone perfects it
  • What the point of what? If everyone is doing the fast kickoff, there’s no point in doing it? No, as I already said, fast kickoff is the norm now, one guy has not mastered enough/is not fast enough, he’s loosing the kickoff every time.

Everyone has mastered hitting the ball straight, but I don’t think there’s need to be a point for that

  • What’s the point of fast kickoff if everyone perfects it
  • Well, fast kickoff is a standard mechanic everyone should know. If one guy goes for a normal kickoff, he’ll loose ball to the fast one. That’s why everyone is doing the fast kickoff, it’s the norm now

  • List view of subscribed communities
  • Hi, it’s not bad UX, it’s just that, with that many updates and new features added, sometime I miss a few changelogs.

Off topic, I would like to suggest an Apollo feature. You know how swiping from the left side of the screen gets you back a page? Apollo has a swipe from the right to go forward, let’s say you miss clicked/miss swiped and got back to the posts view, a swipe from the right side gets you back to the last post you visited

  • Tomorrow many subreddits will open up again, will you switch back to Reddit or stay on Lemmy (or use both)
  • I’ll probably use both until Apollo gets shut off for good. I hope by then Mlem gets better and I’ll definitely switch to Lemmy/Kbin. I’ll still reference Reddit because let’s be real, many questions and answers are on Reddit
