I think the question is the other way around: who's not bummed. It's always said to see the best players go, especially one of the very best like Nadal. I just hope djoko can find a bit more fire in him to keep going for a few more years
Ah yes, but he couldn't have known. Why would you retire after just winning a grand slam (👁 ͜ʖ👁)
I think that's what he wanted as well. But his body didn't allow him. He wouldn't even let them throw a proper farewell like the Madrid open did. But we'll, it is what it is
The moment has come, Nadal retires from professional tennis

We all saw that coming, but it's still sad to see the second big three retiring. Great career, and he deserves all the rest he can get now!
Team world wins Laver cup!
What a fantastic comeback. I think we can all agree that Carlos carried this year's team world. Zverev's recovery was pretty good though! And the energy Carlos shared with Ruud was amazing. He brought that man from the dead
"The one who never was" - it's what I think about Zverev. If only he had a bit more mental strength and discipline, then maybe he could have won a few majors
US Open Day 1!
Coco Gauff begins her title defence and Ben Shelton takes on Dominic Thiem as the year’s final tennis grand slam begins. Join Yara El-Shaboury for updates from New York
Who do you think is going to win this year? I feel Djoko has a confidence boost on men's side and on women's side I'd like to see Iga win another US open
I understand that but when someone gets a don't you don't get the option not to take it outside, unfortunately. The thing gotta poop
Ugh... as someone stated before I think that's more a owners problem than the dog problem. Clearly your brother didn't properly train his dog and now you're suffering because of it. Normal dogs can wait 8h or more if needed without shitting or peeing because people need to work and can't take them out every 2 hours
If you don't have a hobby, start by getting one. One where you need to interact with people, and eventually, you'll meet them and possibly make friends. If you're stuck between work and home, it's hard to meet new people and move on. One can't expect to keep the same friends forever in most y you just have to make new ones because people change
If you like world of warcraft give it a go. It's full of guilds with people older than 30
France is not the EU. This doesn't happen in other European countries because there are rules and proper times to make proper campaigns. I don't even think this is a good thing to joke about Americans because what was done in France was just plain stupid
Yeah. Apart from his game where he could finish the game he played flawlessly. Not sure if djokos knee also didn't help him but even if he was 100% he wouldn't probably have won
Short story is: you can't unless you're rich.
You can get tickets by registering on Wimbledons website. Then there is a public ballot where you can get the chance get the "opportunity" to buy random tickets for a random day (basically) they will assign a random dar/stadium and you'll choose if you want to buy the ticket or not.
The other option is to buy a permanent seat which can cost tens of thousands of pounds. (Whoever has these tickets can sell one day if they wish or can't go).
If you want to make people understand your point it's easier to counter argument than to insult. 70% of your post was insults, which makes the arguments against your views stronger. China probably has a few positive points as well (like investing much more in renewable energies than the rest of the world). So why not use stuff like this?
Just a suggestion, so take it as you will
Tbh at the second part of his career the courts started to get slower so that the games would last longer. So his game really suffered from that and djokos and nadals benefited. So it's an unfair advantage that those 2 had and the story could really be different otherwise
Yeah, I think you should explore different options. She had the same problem and eventually found one med that didn't make her sleepy
Therapy and meds sometimes are the answer.
When you reach a point in your life when your anxiety is just too much to handle, get help. My wife suffers the same thing and took too long to realise that was the case. Only when she was really at the bottom then she accepted help. But even then it wasn't enough for her to accept that she had to take meds. I had to sit her down and say that what she was doing was not only destroying her bit myself as well. Then she really took it seriously and started to really taking the meds. It was a huge improvement. Anxiety probably never disappears but she learned how to handle it and the meds enabled her not to meltdown at every little thing. Long story short: get help asap and your wife is probably suffering as much or even more than you. Don't be egoistic and treat yourself. As for being a workaholic that's simple. Find a hobby you like and be a hobbyholic :D
Just watched Twelve Final Days...
And man, it still hits. I don't think anyone collectively cried so much when a sports player retired. It's not the best documentary ever but if you like tennis and specially Federer, I recommend this
So far Carlos hasn't disappointed when big moments came. The same can't be said about Zverev. If Zverev played as usual he would probably have won this game. Carlos was in beast mode though so it's hard to say fr. If this guy can contain his injuries he'll certainly be one of the best players of all time
Carlos Alcaraz beats Zverev to win his first Roland Garros title
Carlos Alcaraz is fast becoming the saviour of tennis.
I was not the original creator of this community but anything is welcome, really
Tbh I just follow a few players I like on Google. Then I just get the notifications when they are playing. And usually it means there's a tournament going on
This comment is the perfect mirror of how dumb people can be. So a guy who's using an apple product posts something about the product and this community is not the community for him? Since when can't we criticise a product we use? Should we be blind to the product's faults? If everyone had this mindset companies could get away with everything. My advice to you is to open your eyes and be more helpful. This dude was only asking for the experience of other users and you helped nothing and were only rude
The EU version is super nice. Don't know what the carriers do in the US but the EU version is pretty good and can only say good things about the OneUI
