A couple of days ago, a person (rudely) said—and I'm paraphrasing here—that even though this sub is called 'Kickass Women', no information is given as to why the women posted here are considered to be 'Kickass'. Well the answer is that I consider anyone who practices or competes in Martial Arts to be 'Kickass' and this pic embodies that 'kickass-ness'—she's fighting, she's bleeding, and she's having a blast.
terrifying at the same time
I'll let her fight record speak for itself: https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/fighters/116637-miranda-maverick
Firstly, I thought that it was fairly obvious but okay, I'll state this community's purpose explicitly: I think that women who practice or compete in martial arts are kickass women and that's why I post their content (pics/clips) here. Secondly, if you think that PG/PG-13 content is 'porn' you must come from a very sheltered background and don't know what you're talking about. Last but not least, if you don't like this community, feel free to leave; this is not North Korea or Cuba. I'm not going to cater to someone with an attitude like yours.
Now, if you have constructive criticism, I'm all ears.
Though my issue has been resolved I'll try this and update this post afterwards
Edit:
I reinstalled the video drivers and rebooted twice to be sure but VLC wouldn't play mp4 files unless I changed “Hardware-accelerated decoding” to “VA-API video decoder”.
Thank you, this resolved my issue.
I read the wiki and changed "Hardware-accelerated decoding" to "VA-API video decoder".
My original problem was caused by the fact that this was set to automatic, now that it's set to "VA-API video decoder" VLC is able to play mp4 files again without any issues.
Replying to my own post here. I tried to reinstall my video driver but the terminal messages I received essentially said that the files were already installed:
Jean-Luc@Enterprise:~$ sudo apt-get install firmware-amd-graphics libgl1-mesa-dri libglx-mesa0 mesa-vulkan-drivers xserver-xorg-video-all
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
firmware-amd-graphics is already the newest version (20230210-5).
libgl1-mesa-dri is already the newest version (22.3.6-1+deb12u1).
libgl1-mesa-dri set to manually installed.
libglx-mesa0 is already the newest version (22.3.6-1+deb12u1).
libglx-mesa0 set to manually installed.
mesa-vulkan-drivers is already the newest version (22.3.6-1+deb12u1).
mesa-vulkan-drivers set to manually installed.
xserver-xorg-video-all is already the newest version (1:7.7+23).
xserver-xorg-video-all set to manually installed.

I used this command to search through the dpkg.log but didn't get any results for radeon or ati:
cat /var/log/dpkg.log | grep -i ati
I disabled hardware acceleration and VLC is able to play mp4 files again; however, is there a way to turn on hardware acceleration without getting these errors?
Update:
Changing “Hardware-accelerated decoding” to “VA-API video decoder” fixed the issue. Now VLC is able to play mp4 files with hardware acceleration without any issues.
I have rebooted multiple times. How do I reinstall the driver for my Radeon HD 5450 graphics card?
I used this command to search through the dpkg.log but didn't get any results for radeon or ati:
cat /var/log/dpkg.log | grep -i ati
Tried it. I don't think there's anything to upgrade:
Jean-Luc@Enterprise:~$ sudo apt dist-upgrade
[sudo] password for Jean-Luc:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
How do I do that?
I don't know if it updated my video driver. I just used this command: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

Up until yesterday, new posts would show up at the top of the page (sort type: hot) after a couple of minutes (and getting two or three upvotes). Today, however, despite an hour passing by and the posts receiving 3-4 upvotes, they didn't show up at the top of the page.
At the time of writing (four hours after posting this support request), the two posts I made on my community are now showing up at the top of the page but why did it take so long?
