What's a good conservative instance?
  • May not quite answer your question, but when I think conservative I think less government interference.

Keyword my perspective, views of actual conservatism vary. So my thoughts would be instances where not having as much of your info be public, censorship, and mandates. Mandates is touchy, so what I am thinking is there should not be a vaccine mandate because everyone should be educated enough to understand how beneficial vaccines are and there is no need to force people since they'll do it anyway.

Maybe an instance would be that Deep Space 9 episode where the federation tries to take over the entire Earth just because of a changeling threat?

  • What's a perfect trilogy, Video Game, Movies, books, whatever.
  • I will argue House in Fata Morgana is the best visual novel of all time.

But then I will argue the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles 2 cases 3-5 are the greatest (hoo wee what a ride). If you can get through the slow pace of the rest of it it's worth it.

Otherwise I'll agree the Phoenix Wright trilogy is the ultimate power fantasy of seeing people in high places actually getting convicted of their crimes.

  • You could say Portal Revolution is the third game (it's free direct from Steam, and while not wildly unique it will still have you scratch your noodle until you realize how obvious it is).

So I vote Portal in that case.

  • What's a perfect trilogy, Video Game, Movies, books, whatever.
  • Animated series plus you could consider the Telltale Games BttF the fourth movie, as it was written by Gale and has most of the cast. (MJF makes a cameo, Biff's actor said his agent never contacted him)

  • ‘Google Is a Monopolist,’ Judge Rules in Landmark Antitrust Case
  • If I am looking it up correctly, judge Amit Mehta was appointed by Obama (who had ties with Google), and still ruled google a Monopoly.

I just like stuff like this as it shows a judge can put bias aside in a ruling at least once, supposedly.

  • Trump Site Launches Limited-Edition Assassination Attempt Sneakers
  • That sounds like too much effort in his part. I feel like it's more like Krusty the Clown, where he was shown three images, pointed to one, and everyone else did all the work as fast and cheap as possible.

  • Nearly half of 18-24-year-olds say they're 'not fully straight', survey finds
  • Survey done by Durex. Durex was also that news site "ally of the year". Interesting. Usually whenever I think of polls I feel like people who aren't directly interested in the topic don't take the poll.

Like if you said there was a polls about video games, I might take it. But a poll about guns id probably pass on.

But I welcome a more open culture, so would be neat if true.

  • And yet I still find myself choosing the Switch version anyway
  • It is quite impressive how many games can run at all in the Switch let alone be optimized for it.

I imagine either Nintendo did a good job supporting third parties for the hardware, or the money was so damn profitable that third parties were willing to shell out the money to find outsourcing that could make it run.
