Eeesh. I never had it get to the point of anaphylaxis. A medicine called hydroxyzine. It's an antianxiety med that also happens to help with histamines. So it's a win/win for me really.

But the nice thing is that it did indeed end. When I asked my doc if there was an unsafe amount of Benadryl per day, she finally found something that helped.

About 7 years, and then one day it just stopped. I still occasionally get the random hive from time to time, but no more full body hives.
