Non Americans, what province is the "Alabama" of your country?
  • Speaking only on the incest stereotype, Spanish Wells in the Bahamas. They’re known for strictly dating and marrying other fellow islanders, which at this point is basically one large family.

Edit to remove the double “at this point”

  • Dry Herb Vaping vs Bong hits
  • There are vaporizers that you can connect into a bong and get the best of both. But for a single device, a Volcano is the vape equivalent of a bong rip. The sensation and flavor are different but, to me, it feels cleaner than smoking out of a bong.

  • What is your "inexpensive" hobby that turned out to be expensive/ you gradually invested lots of money into?
  • Oh boy, I’m not the worst but I’m pretty bad when it comes to “rabbit holes”

Vinyl records and hifi audio, photography (especially film), mechanical keyboards, cigars, old german cars. I just recently got into music production and modular synthesis. Someone needs to stop me.

  • What are some YouTube channels which follow pre-monetisation ethos?
  • Project Farm is probably the foremost tool/gear testing and review channel. No sponsors, he always buys what he tests with his own money, and all of the testing ideas come from the community. This dude is one of the hardest working content creators and makes great videos that serve a valuable purpose.

  • Which proprietary software do you prefer over their open-source alternatives, and why?
  • I also love how Shazam automatically updates my list to an Apple Music playlist, so I just have a running list of good music that I’ve heard over the years. It’s fun to shuffle it and remember where and when I heard certain songs from years ago.

  • Flying internationally with thc vape
  • Honestly, it's probably not worth it. If you absolutely need to get high at your destination, I'd bring gummies and put them in a candy container or something innocuous. In general, it's still not worth it. If you ask around, you can probably find it at your destination unless you're going somewhere like Singapore or Russia.

  • Thinking about buying a giant bong
  • As others have said, a larger tube means more cooling for the smoke. Honestly, a smaller bong with a nice perc and an ice catch would do the same, if not better, and be easier to clean.

I don't smoke bongs anymore, but my workhorse back in the day was a cheap little 10 inch bong with an ice catch. I'd put crushed ice in, and use an ash catcher and it would hit better than my friends' expensive rigs, with more portability. Plus, since it was like $50, I didn't care if it got broken or lost.

  • Saturday up in smoke with a Habana Montecristo #2
  • I love Monty 2s but it's hard to find them at a decent price anymore. I'm still sitting on a box of 2018s which have been excellent so far, the few that I've smoked. Some people say that they're overrated, which is probably true given the entire catalog of Habanos brands, but sometimes, nothing quite hits like a nice No 2, especially if you have the time to devote to enjoying it.

  • How To Properly Light A Cigar | With Davidoff of London
  • I wish I had the patience for this method. I toast my cigars but with a torch, if it's a smaller ring gauge then I'll break out the soft flame. I'll be in London in a couple weeks and I'm hoping to stop by the store.

Speaking on Davidoffs, I think they have some solid sticks but their prices are pretty outrageous sometimes. I'm a fan of their Grand Cru line and Nicaraguans but their Churchills are a total rip off. I will say that their construction is perfect 99% of the time and the flavor is very consistent.

  • What's your favorite pizza in town?

I just had Grandma's Pizza from Clay & Fire last night and my god, it's one of the best pies I've ever had. I'd put it up there with Extra Virgin and Pizza 51.

What does your stash box look like?
  • Oh those look sweet! If I only smoked in one location, I'd definitely invest in a nicer box like that. But, I frequently take my box out of the house to travel with, especially outdoors, so I need something that is more portable and rugged, hence the Pelican.
