I posted an update but it wasn't the best photo. You can see it if you look at my posts
Stealth games are a popular genre and I personally find the character of Gollum to be quite compelling and I think it could have been done well, but it obviously wasn't.
I do a pretty accurate Gollum impression and have entertained friends with it at great length and sometimes to their annoyance so maybe I relate to the character more than is usual but I can't be the only one.
Earth? Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded.
My wife and I tried D:OS and she got really bored really fast. I think the pacing of the first couple of chapters is really slow and there's a lot of reading and not a lot of action and she just lost interest really quickly. Too bad but I get it.
They did! I'll take some pics when I get home
I guess they don't want my money
I was utterly obsessed with Legend of Kyrandia 1 when I was a kid. My best friend had it on his Amiga and we played countless hours of that game.
Never played the sequel though
Totally normal with the current state of gaming. Hard to get excited about a game when in all likelihood it will release as a broken unplayable mess, missing promised features and rife with microtransactions. How many times can a person be disappointed before they learn to stop being excited in the first place? I know I have adopted a wait-and-see attitude about modern AAA games.
I will say I'm cautiously optimistic about the new Armored Core game, because Fromsoft is good people and the gameplay trailers I have seen look absolutely sick
She's a Muscovy duck! They're a different species from the mallard derived breeds that you typically see and are originally from South America. They don't quack, but instead the females make a trilling coo and the males have a sort of breathy laugh. They are extremely quiet, friendly, curious, and calm birds and make perfect backyard poultry
Me and my buddies used to spend hours playing Rollcage back in the day. One of my favorite racing games of all time
Can't relate at all because nobody "belongs to" anyone
Ah yes, it is the students' responsibility to take action on climate change, not the vice president of the most powerful nation in the world.
We could solve the problem yesterday if they had the will to do it but they just don't.
Was going to say Noita. Such an amazing game
Reddit working overtime to keep me from ever returning
Oh shit this just happened in Oregon as well
It was the first sub I ever blocked
Yeah honestly I picked it randomly and had been regretting not going with a bigger instance, but now I'm glad I went with it because I can still read both Beehaw and Lemmy.world so I'm not really caught up in that whole drama. Seems that there are some advantages to being on a smaller instance
Yes, you can block individual communities. I've personally blocked all of the meme groups and it has greatly improved my signal to noise ratio when browsing by all
White currants from my garden
I planted a white currant bush last year and this year it gave me a couple of handfuls. They have a fresh taste like a green grape but a bit more tart. I'm in the process of drying them now so I can use them to make some currant scones
