...why didn't she (or YG) just say something, then? I mean, companies are always secretive, yadda yadda, but in this case being open about it would have prevented a lot of problems and criticism.
Great to see them back after so long. And with the sales of this album having already crossed 50,000, it makes you wonder why this wasn't the plan all along. Ok, BBC could (for some reason) only handle one full group comeback a year? Then why not do subunits and solos in the downtime between comebacks? They certainly would have been lucrative enough, as this shows.
Eh, just another thing BBC fucked up on.
I spent a bit of time today looking through Korean reactions to the recent Fifty Fifty news (I speak Korean), and... it's not pretty. I know on Reddit (RIP) opinion was fairly split, half against the members/Siahn and half worried for the girls and hoping they'll turn out okay... but that's not at all the case on the Korean side of things. Saying the split is 99% - 1% against the members would be generous... it's more like 99.9% against.
If anyone is interested in specifics, I can translate the most common things people are saying.
They're done for, in Korea. Internationally, who knows.
You steadfastly refuse to upvote low-effort crap, and instead upvote comments and content that are either well-informed, detailed, full of effort, or insightful. (Insightful doesn't require length or effort - a short, punchy comment that cuts to the heart of the issue can be very insightful.) You do that even when you disagree; or at least withhold the downvote for things that are well thought out but that you personally disagree with.
Liberally downvote the "LOLmemeROFL" stuff. Except in subs where that's the point.
Enough people do that, and quality will rise to the top.

Any speculation as to what's going on here?

Great to see another of the team reuniting somewhere not named BBC.
