A certain mod makes up lies to justify a ban in World News
  • And in regards to that I had already had prior discussions with mods in both World and News and we came to an understanding on what is acceptable and what isn't.

None of that justifies deliberately incorrectly labeling a news article an opinion piece, removing the post, and citing posting opinion pieces as a reason for a ban. It's completely bogus.

  • A certain mod makes up lies to justify a ban in World News
  • Right and did I ever post an opinion piece? Is a clickbaity title misinformation?

You're all so quick to focus on something unrelated to the actual issue which is the lyings for the reason of those removals.

  • A certain mod makes up lies to justify a ban in World News
  • That’s not really how it seems like at all.

I have actually spoken with different mods in both World and News and after getting further clarification around what sources are permitted and are not (ex. I can use anything that doesn't fall under the “Questionable” list) it was all resolved long ago.

This is also the only time a post was removed for being an 'opinion' article, yet it's specifically mentioned as a cause for the ban?

It's not due to a "history", and most of my posts are well received such as 'White House says health insurance needs to fully cover condoms, other over-the-counter birth control'

Now how about instead of trying to find any excuse to justify this, you address the points made in my original comment?

  • A certain mod makes up lies to justify a ban in World News

    !

    > reason: Rule 3 - No opinion articles

This is the article, as you can see it is very clearly a news article about a current event and not at all an opinion article.

    > reason: Misinformation. Two parliament victories out of 650 members is NOT a nightmare for the opposition.

It's a clickbaity title at worst, b ut it is not misinformation. A party losing a swing seat is not a good sign, especially considering Starmers growing unpopularity. This ban was purely a mods opinion, there was no 'misinformation'.

    > reason: Multiple posting rule violations, especially opinion and misinformation articles. Please read the rules in the sidebar in future.

The mod used these two lies to justify a ban from the community. What point is reading the rules in the sidebar meant to serve if they're not legitimately being enforced?

Keir Starmer's 'smash gangs' pledge 'in tatters' after 12,900 migrants arrive in 3 months
  • 13,000 on top of the 750,000 "irregular migrants" already in the UK. Double Frances 300,000, and making the UK have the largest "irregular migrant" population in Europe.

As for why that's a problem? Because it takes away resources from the people who live here. They're actively stealing our futures, as we pay for their accommodation, food, family planning, childcare, etc. I understand you don't have the same social care that we do, but it costs a lot of money to house these people while we work our arses off and can't even pay rent.

Imagine if you could just hop on a boat to Mexico, and the Mexican government would give you a free home and food for life. You didn't even have to learn Spanish, you could just sit in your American community and never interact with anyone while getting everything. Would you understand why Mexicans would be angry at you?
