I think that apart from Mike Pence and Chris Christie it's clear that none of these Republican candidates have any delusions of securing the GOP nomination. And the man incited a violent insurrection to install himself as a dictator during what was a purely symbolic procedure. Trump lost, Biden won. Counting the electoral votes on 1/6 was a formality. There was no actual way for him to remain in office so he betrayed the nation by attempting to destroy democracy as we know it in this country. The only place he belongs in 2024 is ADX Florence.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if duplicate accounts are a part of this but that seems like it would be a natural part of growing pains for lemmy. The way the fediverse is built would suggest that people who are serious about long-term participation may bounce around a bit. For example, I joined in June but in that time I still managed to test out two other instances before settling on a third that seemed to strike the ideal balance between admin policies and reliable uptime to suit my needs.

That was probably true before he became President but I doubt it is anymore. He spent his entire term lining his pockets with as much taxpayer money as possible... And that's not even taking into account the fact that he's been campaigning this entire time to fund his legal defense against the numerous criminal and civil cases against him.
