Who knew the Gorn and Xindi-Aquatics could be such good friends?
BTW, Qo'nos Forever!
This is a dream come true. I was expect some lousy uniform or a measly T5, but no, a T6! Dang.
Can not wait.
This is very helpful...
This TFO seems rather interesting, I'm excited to play it.
This seems very interesting and a much needed mechanic. May try it out myself.
Maybe. The phrasing seems unclear on what the ability actually is. Hopefully it will be specified on whenever we get the actual blog post.
Folks... we have the Khitomer Alliance Rex Pilot Escort, a cross between the Jem'Hadar Bugship and the Defiant... A cursed but welcome combination. DS9 fans like me will probably enjoy this one.
This event/season is most definitely going to be an interesting one, with a playable Wolf 359, Fluidic Space Incursion 2, and the very pretty Rex Pilot Escort.
It looks rather interesting. A cross between the bugship and the Defiant is a surprise to be sure, but certainly a welcome one.
Also "commands entire squadrons of escorts in battle, coordinating them and forming the tip of the spear with its superior maneuverability and ability to strip enemy defenses before a devastating strafing run"? A vanguard Khitomer ship? Very, very intriguing. I will most defenitely be participating to earn this ship.
Although, I'm rather let down no Romulan designs were incorporated, with Rex being a Latin word similar to "King" and the Romulans being based off of the Romans. Still, it looks very nice.
Romulan/Dominion?
So, apparently the Khitomer Alliance Rex is a Pilot Escort Ship (The German version of the news page (https://www.playstartrekonline.com/de/news/article/11561333) reveals it is a Pilot Escort "Für dieses neue Ereignis können Spieler ausgewählte Inhalte spielen und ein neues K6-Schiff verdienen, das Rex-Piloteneskortschiff der Khitomer-Allianz!"
Translated: "For this new event, players can play select content and earn a new K6 ship, the Khitomer Alliance's Rex pilot escort ship!"). While we have no other information about it, this gives us a few major clues to help us.
That'd be a weird combination, but it's possible. I personally was thinking all 3 with the addition of some Borg technology.

A return to the Undine, as seen by a Reality Vortex in Fluidic Space? I want to see STO's take on whether there is a mirror version of Fluidic Space. The Aventine and Dax are certainly a welcome addition as well. I wonder what exactly the "Khitomer Alliance Rex" is...
Also, Battle of Wolf 359 as a TFO? Very nice.
Theories and Predictions for STO's 14th Anniversary?
Star Trek Online is about to witness it's 14th Anniversary, and with that comes daily giveaways, a new episode, a bundle, and an event ship, and I wish to hear y'all's predictions for this upcoming celebration.
I would like to star off saying that, in my opinion, we have seen some interesting event ships from the past few events, like the Tamarian Deep Space Cruiser, the Hysperian Intel Battlecruiser, and one of my personal favorites, the Compiler Science Dreadnought being added to the game. The next ship has been a topic for discussion lately, as several key developers or players in the game have said that the ship was one of the most beautiful they have ever added to the game. In addition to this, Art Director Thomas Marrone has said that previous ships from the Anniversary may yield a clue. Perhaps this could be a return to the Khitomer Alliance ships?
The last episode has left me generating a lot of speculation. With how large the conflict between the Aetherians and the Mirror Borg is, this makes me wonder what exactly we might get to see. Terran Empress Leeta? The Lukari being the predecessors to the Aetherians? The Aetherians betraying us? I have a feeling Agent Daniels may want to get involved with this one...
Other than that, there are a bunch of miscellaneous things that the Anniversary will also bring, like new TFOs, Patrols, Bundles, etc. that could all use some speculation and discussion too. I would like to hear any theories and prediction y'all may have about the upcoming event.
IT'S BEEN A LOOONG TIMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Happy Birthday! Thanks for the great memes, even if you just found them. Funniest dude on this site.

Season 6 and 7 of DS9, especially the Tears of the Prophets-Image in the Sand-Shadows and Symbols arc. Something about it. But overall just those seasons.
Why doesn't Starfleet just employ more Borg cubes when fighting Borg?
Seriously, with the devastating defeat to the Borg and the Borg uni-matrix, you would have thought that Voyager would have took home some extras cubes, or at least Spheres or Probes as souvenirs. The Borg wouldn't of noticed that those ships weren't Borg, and Starfleet would have gotten some killer Victory Royales against the Borg. Plus, what Starfleet officer wouldn't want to serve aboard a Borg cube? It's not like they're scary, with a lot of points for people to people to fall down, and the abundance of entertainment and personal space on this ship really provides an awesome, no risk and no assimilation whatsoever experience! So why didn't Starfleet employ more Borg Cubes instead of spamming the space bar and blowing them up without second thought?
The New Borg Queen...
Sorry for the low-effort dialogue and story, I just wanted to make a Sub Rosa meme and this was what I got.
PSA: Potential Spoilers for upcoming content on STO. Stay Alert!
Just so people are aware, on the Tribble Test Server, a STO reddit user discovered a new leaked mission on the Tribble Test Server relating to the next season. Earlier, I tried to access it, but could not find it so their isn't really much danger going there, However, the may be danger scrolling throughout communities like subreddits (which I'd imagine most don't use here, I only used it to access more info on what is happening), or forums. If you do not want content to be spoiled, consider avoiding the sites for a short while.
Edit: Just let STOers know do not access sector space in tribble if avoiding spoilers! There is a potential (nevertheless minor) spoiler there!
Small Voyager Easter Egg from Picard Season 2 Episode 2
So I was looking at the skulls from Picard Season 2 Episode 2, and when I came across Commodore Y'Shi's, I recognized something familiar on the nameplate. Turns out it was the Voth Symbol seen in "Distant Origin" (Season 3 Episode 23). So, I got the design from Star Trek Design Project, and flipped it and there it is. The Saurian Symbol on Commodore Y'Shi's plate (from the Confederation Timeline) is the Voth Symbol turned 180 degrees. I don't know if this was intentional (probably is) or not, but fun easter egg.
Also sorry for the horrible picture, threw it together in paint quickly without caring for neat design.
