    Magic Earth and spurious closures

  • I've never had a problem with magic earth, personally. They have a feature that allows users to report road closures, speed cameras, etc... What may be happening is that a user local to your area is falsely reporting things for one reason or another. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is a whole lot to do about this. It might be worth contacting the company about it.

    I have encountered a problem where all calls I take are routed through my louder speaker as if I'm always on speaker phone. My OS is a custom ROM called /E/ OS. If anyone has a solution I would love to hear it!

  • I really like these corona pruning shears that I got recently. Very easy to sharpen due to the blade being removable and I'm sure they'll last a long time!

    Fairphone 4 In the US

  • I've got the fairphone 3+ running /e/ os and T-Mobile is the carrier. It works pretty well and I don't have many complaints. Keep in mind that the FP 3+ only connects to 3G and 4G networks while I believe the FP 4 connects to 4G and 5G networks so I don't have any experience using 5G. I'm sure it would be fine unless you have any specific reason to doubt that Verizon would work.
