There is an issue open in the Lemmy UI GitHub about this. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/282#issuecomment-1605270063 I had the same grievance when I started browsing, but now I'm used to middle clicking. In any case fingers crossed that the feature gets implemented and makes its way to this instance.

I was running into the same issue yesterday when trying to browse other instance from reddthat. Today it has been fine tho.
