if you want to try an Amazon alternative of books, try ThrifBooks, they have new books as well as used ones
r/Europe
it was a nice place before it was took over around Brexit
no oversight and ability to permaban your account from the whole platform through the automated anti evil bot
interesting, that's when my account was banned for reporting spam and hate (according to the auto-message; no response to the appeal). I wonder if there's been an uptick because of that
not just you, it is significantly worse. And many have been banned for reporting hate
it's full of bots who uses AI to spread toxicity. And if you are genuine and report that, you're going to be permabanned. The site is going down, fast
with $66.99 being 25 gold
so they keep 60+%. I am not sure why people willing to support someone won't do it directly vs giving a high percentage to a middle man.
I am convinced there is no human behind the suspensions and the moderators reporting those who report will have you banned irrespective of merit. Such a nice environment
they don't want anonymous. if you use a private browser with no fingerprinting or VPN, you can't even create an account
they have bots, AI, and astroturfing, their numbers will be fine despite quality having gone downhill for some time
same for reporting astroturfing. I reported nsfl posts landing the front page in the past, they were not removed (that does not break reddit's rules, lol)
same happened to me, I pointed out the astroturfing (repeated offenses in a mainstream subreddit, typically landing on the front-page) and got banned for reporting abuse. no appeal, no response to me pointing out again at the astroturfing.
