What series of life events led to such a cursed reality?
That's totally unfair! Some of them might have actual jobs too!
A few anyways.
Since this is the first time in human history it's every happened, we will have to wait to see what word or phrase becomes standard to use. Because if it had happened before, we'd have a definition for it.
And it would probably be super illegal beyond being immoral. Like international communities would all agree that anyone committing such acts would be evil and the good nations of the world would act immediately to defend the victims and stop any government or army from continuing.
At least if it ever happens again we will know better.
I'm really not following your argument. I don't think I have to defend the statement "Men are a group". So I won't. But if you'd like to explain your point, please feel free.
Oh I see, still waking up.
Yeah it's a weird and shitty side of our culture, like we are much more prone to punish women and defend young men, but only at the court stage. (I feel from personal experience, hence me wondering about the actual data.)
But it's like it isn't even about the victim since men and women both get treated like shit in reporting and getting any sort of justice, but it's almost like "while since we are here let's just have a look... Oh a woman is the bad guy? Perfect." Or "oh a bunch of young boys?!? Isn't that gay? Let's nail him to the wall" Vs the usually rich asshole abusing woman where it's like "I guess if there's enough evidence and the woman doesn't act too hysterical and we have some solid physical evidence, maybe we can do minimums... As a treat."
I know it's so much more complicated and frankly if men are getting justice good. I just want more equality within the system.
Sorry what? Are you arguing "Men" are not a group? That they can't be categorized?
Am I sure about what? That men vastly outnumber women when it comes to commiting rape/sexual assault/abuse? Umm... Yeah?
Your example is part of my bigger question of "who actually gets punished vs who does the crime and how dependant is it on who is the victim."
And comments like that are disgusting. Men can and are victimized sexually and our culture treats them like it's their fault and they should have just defended themselves or maybe they actually liked it. Very similar to how many women victims are treated, and it's wrong.
I was actually referring to men.......
I also would like to see the data on how much more likely a famous/rich/powerful person is to be actually tried/prosecuted if they abused boys/men vs girls/women. It sure feels like it at least gets way more publicity when it's boys/men as victims.
I was hoping since season 1 that they would have Richard on, he'd make a great energy vampire.
The cast was very kind, though my department isn't on set much so it would just be brief hallway or parking lot interactions. Matt Barry was always a gentleman, holding doors while we dragged scenery through. And Harvey always said hi as he passed even though he knew none of us. I can speak to all of them, but it's a repeat of "had minor contact, they were lovely people".
Absolutely. The non-sense we would be asked to do daily ("hey we need a sex table for a practical effect so Colin Robinson's face can appear on the back of Nadia's head while Laszlo rails her in the kitchen.") makes it hard to get bored.
The sets were all a treat, especially the Lab and Cannon Capital Office for this year.
I'm excited for some upcoming episodes.
I went to a premier screening last night as I worked on the show. I was hoping for more laughs in the theatre. I hope the season fleshes out. I find this show has very funny episodes, and kinda flat episodes.
I liked Jerry as a plot device to stir up all the shit with the household, keeps it from getting stagnant.
I mean... I can think of a few classes and groups that have the vast lion's share, but I'm not here to get banned.
Yeah the episode exists, it's linked in the debunk article by Reuters. He talks about running, does not say anything like the quote, that has been debunked many times.
So if you find it let us know. I'm sufficiently convinced he did not say that (in a recording)
Plot twist!
Yes, thank you!
Forgive me, is it a known fact that Universal Monk and Socialist Morman Satanist are the same person, or am I misunderstanding something?
Capoeira or however it is spelt. Thought it was made up by Bob's Burgers to make fun of all the different fighting/exercise/dance crazes until my coworker mentioned he was taking his kids to class one day.
The cow looks so sad for him.
What happened? Was he scammed? I kinda thought Everett would somehow make the fixing stop by hitting someone on the head, not be taken in by a dishonest bet...
I'm quite certain what you need to do is get every one else voting. That's kind of how the whole thing is supposed to work.
