Group/Filter multiple Magazines?
  • @JollyRoberts

Do you mean the https://kbin.social/d/startrek.website link?

When I go there it shows me all posts to startrek.website but also all posts from startrek.website

So as well as Threads on the startrek instances magazines I can also see what startrek users are posting on other instances / non-startrek magazines.

(I can see cat posts for example!)

Sorry if I haven't explained it well or gotten the terminology wrong.. still learning my way around here

  • Group/Filter multiple Magazines?
  • On a similar topic is it possible to use the /d/ link to show threads for that instance only rather than anything that member of that instances posts across the whole verse?

e,g, I'd like to browse https://kbin.social/d/startrek.website and just see posts to startrek.website magazines

    Group/Filter multiple Magazines?

Is it possible to group/filter multiple magazines together when browsing? So I could build up a thread view based on a topic and pull in threads from the different Magazines that I have selected?

(I understand kbin is still new so this probably doesn't exist yet.. doesn't hurt to ask in case there is a clever way of doing it)\_

Did you reuse your Reddit name or create a new one?
  • I’ve got a new username. Starting fresh! But tbh I tend to clear down and get a new username every so often anyway. Probably just being paranoid but feel like it keeps my account more anonymous.

  • m/chat Welcome Thread! Introduce yourself here.
  • Hi,

I’m trying to decide if kbin or lemmy is the place to be. I really like the beehaw community over there but I’m a bit put off due to the whole stuff surrounding the devs behind the lemmy code base.

Just trying to my find my way around the kbin interface and make sure I’m subscribed to a bunch of “magazines” - will try to be active here as well as beehaw (lemmy) so I can give both systems a proper shake down.

About me: I live in the UK, enjoy nerdy things like SciFi, D&D and tinkering with tech etc but don’t get much time to engage in hobbies as I’m a parent to a demanding toddler (well.. nearly not a toddler now I guess. Little kid)
