Isn't democracy collapsing everywhere? The USA's electoral voting system means democracy doesn't exist. A vote in California is worth 27% of a vote in Wyoming in terms of representation. Add on blatant gerrymandering and you've got a rigged system.
The UK has introduced voter ID laws for a problem that never existed in the past. The UK has also had multiple unelected prime ministers due to the way that the parliamentary system works.
Democracy is on the wane everywhere.
Bold strategy. Let me raise a giant middle finger to the unpaid mods and contributors that have built your site. If they weren't having issues making money, I can't wait to see what happens now.
Twitter have already seen ad revenue plummet because of the shit show that is taking place since the takeover. Bad actors will attempt to take over as mods and the level of moderation will turn to shit. We'll end up with a Twitter clone taken over by alt-right assholes, Crypto scammers and spam.
Reddit will bleed and bleed money.
I've found myself doing the same. I've instinctively opened Apollo about 6 times yesterday and each time I've force quit the app immediately.
I can't bring myself to delete it just yet. @christianselig made one of the best R*ddit apps and in a way this whole protest has been a great way to break away from my addiction.
