Kamala is apparently more progressive than we knew, her voting record was pretty close to Bernie's in the Senate. By being the vp and then Biden dropping out we seem to have gotten a more prog candidate than we could have otherwise?
I'm skeptical but giving her a chance. Apparently her voting record in the Senate wasnt that far off from Bernies general position (although not "statistically closest to Bernie" like this circulated meme was saying)
At least she seems like she's got some good energy and getting people engaged to vote and participate.
Nah, most cities are built specifically to conceal and exploit massive cave systems
I actually bought a bag of their beans after they publically distanced themselves from him. It wasn't bad I guess, nothing spectacular. Although I'm giving up coffee slowly, probably wont buy another bag.
Reporting has been he will endorse her relatively soon, now that it's clear she has the votes to win.
Obama's forthcoming speech endorsing Harris will be worth watching I think
Reposting someone else's image from last week, sure makes me grin
I'm liking the dynamics, JDs couchfucking unlikeability will make him lean more into his disingenuous worker advocacy. Causing the dems to meet their ante and retaliate with even more pro-worker policies than before. Could be interesting to watch and lucrative for the ever-gregarious working class!
Just use up one of those gift cards you can use in any store and use that number for free trial signups. Then they can't charge you when the trial period expires.
I think I read that originally yoga was a mental and physical practice that later on had all these layers of religiosity added. Someone more knowledgeable feel free to correct me.
While she did win the popular vote by a wide margin the chart shows how many electors each candidate (including No Vote as a candidate) would get rather than directly representing popular vote by state.
I share your concerns but shes too new a candidate to have polling numbers reliably showing what states she'd be weak in. Wish it hadn't been such a late switchup, certainly not ideal to fall back to Bidens VP suddenly like this but perhaps it catches the Trump campaign flat footed. Perhaps Vance wouldn't have been the GOP VP pick if Trump had known he was up against Harris, seems to be some indication their campaign is struggling to pivot with regards to the switch.
The convention hasn't happened yet, which alternative candidate(s) are you supporting for the dems? Why not just have that candidate be the VP pick?
I'm happy for another chance at a Gen X president , not ready for a Millennial VP
US and UK flights are grounded because of the issue, banks, media and some businesses not fully functioning. Likely we'll see more effects as the day goes on.
Flights are grounded in the US and UK, this won't be limited to Australia
Président is in Walmart near me, beats that green and silver Irish butter imho

Breaking things that worked flawlessly for years, nice. Hopefully fixed soon. It's not just me is it?
Screen rotates when I click the fullscreen button but video doesn't fill the screen, rotates back to vertical after a second. I was able to get it to work properly by turning on rotate screen in the pull down menu and then turning the phone. It still remained in the squashed format shown above but when I pull the video down and then tap on the minimized video it pops out into full screen finally. So it's still usable but the 5 step fix is pretty frustrating.
No I haven't filed a bug report, youtube is a grownup company and do it's own rudimentary beta testing. Sad to see unforced errors like this more and more common in longstanding industry standard apps.
American Privacy Rights Act (APRA) passes House, headed to Senate. Overshadowed by TikTok ban but arguably much more important.
