I'm not big on the homogenising into unreal 5 but if it works well for them I'm all for it.
Yeah I am hoping they overhaul or embrace a new engine because that is what apparently killed mutliplayer for Cyberpunk. I dream of playing as trauma team and extracting patients.
If they've managed to make a decent live action adaptation of any Japanese media I'm impressed for them. Cowboy Bebop, the Resident Evil tv series come to mind as their mos trecent failings. I think One Pieces kind of cartooniness is something that can be adapted in live action so its good to see them actually do it.
Enemy variety was the killer imo. It's so common to fight and there's only like 5 enemy types in the game and you meet them all by the midway point. I am hoping more creatures show up in the sequel.
I am dying to see the Strogg again in all their glory, once of the coolest aliens ever in a video-game. I dream of a remake of Quake 4 because they really went batshit with Strogg designs in Quake 4.
Haven't yet, have a massive backlog of games plus over things to worry about but I will probably be getting it at release.
These are very short and small bears. They stand upright an average of 5ft tall, which amongst bears is short enough. Keep in mind even a black bear, another considred small bear, can reach up to over 6ft, 1.82m, tall. Grizzlies and Polar Bears are well over the 8ft, 2.43m, range standing upright. The weight differences are also massive. Their relative size similar peer in the Black Bear is anywhere from 60kg 5o 300kg, or 132-661 pounds. Meanwhile a sunbear is around 27-63kg, 59-143lbs.
With such a lithe bear it creates this oddly human look to them when they stand upright.
I am feeling adventurous so for sure imma play a human fighter.
It's absolutely nothing like most CRPGS but play Disco Elysium if you get the opportunity. I've dabbled in plenty of CRPGS in my time but this one was a masterpiece and revitalised my love fo rthe genre.
Owlcat's works are also worth looking into. They are amongst the most honest adaptation of ttrpg system to a computer game. Bonus if you prefer Pathfinder to DnD. I am salivating over the 40k Rogue Trader they are making.
Good news, but also means we should continue to try and improve our situation. We all stand to benefit from improvements to dealing with climate change.
Kbin already is, it was very much a side project by Ernest that was no where near as mature as Lemmy. As it stands it is growing extremely fast, proportionally it is way more active and grows faster than Lemmy itself. Kbin.social iirc is neck and neck with Lemmy World.
The sound design is nuts, the scream the Thing makes is honestly one of the most distinctive sounds I have ever heard from any horror movie monster.
The Lawyer moshpit will begin. Money is likely to be made, but fuck me these legal cases seem tiring to even be near.
It has similarities, but it's very clearly a child of Squad imo; The focus on team cohesion, squad based tactics and the low ttk all say so. The level designer was a Squad fan themself. The fact it's working on a mil-sim mode is funny to me, because it's already pretty squad like so I am interested in how much more they cna do with it.
Agreed totally out of left field imo. I have to watch it though because of that. It's so novel.
Some of the forks still work but due to the current rate limitations they cannot be used. I am giving it some time, as I have a feeling this twitter stuff might resolve on its own. I am not awfully dependent on Twitter regardless so even if nitter is done permanently it's no big lost. We are currently posting on the Fediverse, which has its own alternative in Mastodon.
Maybe, I honestly love going to the movies but it seems the age of the generic blockbuster is done really. It's nearly all sequels or franchises. I want to wathc something not particulary groundbreaking but still interesting and not need to watch it's five previous movies.
The last movie I felt scratched that itch for me was the DnD movie which was relatively detached. I like movies like that and I wish there were more. Don't get me wrong I like a good franchise but when everything is a franchise it's maddening.
You're being downvoted because people don't understand you're not talking about "far left" like some Trumper. You mean literal tankies, which absolutely yes some of the Lemmy Devs are as well as Lemmy.ml. It's also a reason I selected Kbin.
True in that sense, I suppose I am lucky that these stories are rather uncommon in countries I visit and live in.
I'll probably watch Jujutsu Kaisen S2 and Nier Automata once the rest of its episodes release. Otherwise I'll sit tight and see if anything else piques my interest
