Probably my speakers. They were custom built by one of my dad's mates in the 80s. Not sure when exactly.

I fact, I love quality speakers and my parents had a pair (along with a custom made lamp amplifier) that absolutely sublimed any music you put on. Not sure what happened to them
I know about tube amps but what's a lamp amp? that sounds fancy.
after a thorough check that took me five whole seconds, I can say with certainty tube amp is what I meant. It's called "lamp amp" in french for some reason.... Learn a little every day !
I see! yeah, the tubes do glow a little bit, maybe that's why?
