Anyone got a rock solid white sauce recipe for Christmas pudding?
Keep it clean, you heathens.
I only know ‘white sauce’ as a savory thing, it’s another name for bechamel. Goes in lasagne, not on pudding. Did you mean white chocolate sauce?
Brandy butter right?.... Search for that and you should get some good results. My grandma used to make a great one, only thing I know that was in it though was a hell of a lot of brandy
You can do brandy in it but we've usually gone boozeless. My great aunty used to make it and it was amazing for the kiddos but she literally took the recipe to her grave.
I tried making this today as a test but I must have had too much cornflour because it was so thick it was like custard jelly.
This one is closer to my grandma's...
