How to fix?
So I installed Signal messenger and later needed pulse audio and lsp plugins. Now the search in the menu no longer finds Signal in search. :-( I have to go to "Internet -> Signal" to open it.
How to fix this?
Firefox: is linux stupid?
12 0 ReplyI would uninstall and use the flatpak. Way easier than solving dependencie issues
16 12 ReplyInstalling an optional dependency for an optional feature is hard? What happened to Linux users?
15 2 ReplyI didn't say it was hard just said flatpaks are easy. Also why don't you post a solution?

nobody should use flatpak, snap (lennart poettering is an idiot!) and other abominations that break the only relevant dogma. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_philosophy
also: the snapd idiot is also responsible for many of the troubles with pulse audio! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lennart_Poettering
4 39 ReplyIf Poettering is an idiot, why are you using a systemd distro? Go use Devuan, Artix, Alpine, or Void.
