The ICAC is not recommending the Director of Public Prosecutions pursue the former NSW premier for any offence despite finding she took part in serious corrupt conduct.
Yeah the laws should definitely be updated to say if you are found corrupt by icac or any other corruption body then you are no longer entitled to the pension.
Maybe some of them will reason that getting the pension is more valuable to them than accepting donations from corporate sponsors.
We should hold our politicians to a higher standard because of their responsibility in managing affairs that impact major population groups.
The whole cross party political spectrum should be condemning her loudly and publicly.
In no way should she hold any future government or bureaucratic position.
