Just look up the troubles in Northern Ireland. We’ve already been through something similar (admittedly more tame though)
Ireland was subject to pretty much the exact same treatment that Palestine has been subjected to. Religion A wanted Religion B’s land, so they forced them out of an area and imported their own kind into it.
