It is, but it sort of depends on if you're on Lemmy to pass the time or to see if it's a platform you'd be able to migrate to if you choose to. I'm personally hoping that Lemmy becomes a viable alternative that can be my primary community board, and maybe return to Reddit only for the couple of communities that don't have suitable replacements yet.
I've been here for only two days and honestly? I'm not going back to reddit, even if everything works out great over there. I've got more sense of a community in lemmy in two days than what I felt in 7 years in reddit.
Yes the 12th through the 14th but come june 30th all third-party apps will die. and that's when the real traffic here will start. my sub has went dark for 2 days as well to protest.
Which is probably good, but unfortunately reddit will just replace the mods there and they'll just open it and back to how we were. Maybe of course that fortunate for the people that want to go back to Reddit
