Semi-random: I was happy to see so many Flatpak being released for arm64 too (as I'm on "Apple Silicon", working great by the way)
Tip for others with ARM: the Fedora official download page only lists Kinoite 38 for arm and Siilverblue 37 and no Sway, BUT they all work perfectly fine if you rebase with rpm-ostree after installing Kinoite. The power of image-based updates!
Wow, that’s some neat functionality. I was interested in trying Kinoite after you mentioned it, so it sounds like it would be fairly easy to switch from one to the other without reinstalling from scratch?
The poster there had some problems because of the packages they layered, but as you can see everything goes smoothly if you don’t layer anything and even those problems are pretty easy to fix.
For info, I only had neovim and zsh layered when I rebased and nothing broke.
But the beauty is that on the bootloader you have a list of the deployments, so if you break something, you can rollback to a previous system image with one selection!
