I have issues mit my GB USB Smartcard 64M. I am using
ems-qartsoftware under linux. The software doesnt find the card (screenshot attached)This is the message in the terminal:
Failed to open device, libusb error: LIBUSB_ERROR_IO Failed to open device, libusb error: LIBUSB_ERROR_NO_DEVICE Could not find device, is it plugged in?As I can see with
lsusb, it is acutally there:
Bus 001 Device 009: ID 4670:9394 EMS Production Game Cube USB Memory Adaptor 64MStarting
ems-qartas root doesnt solve the issue. I checked the cable, and used three different ones... but always the same behaviour.Any Ideas?
Looks similar to this issue. You might need to start the application then connect the cart.
thanks for the reply. Sad to say that doesnt solve the issue. Still the same behaviour.
At this point it might be worth booting up a Windows machine/usb passthrough to a vm so you can test using the original software.
