Yes, I always thought Storm was a little tone deaf in this scene. I think Beast even tells her in another scene: he says something like "it's easy for you, you don't shed blue fur on the furniture"
Yeah, something about that sentiment reminds me of when religious people will say "it's God's will" when people are suffering and dying, but then "it's against God's will" when a woman chooses not to go forward with a pregnancy for whatever reason. Extremely judgemental and entirely insensitive.
I feel like Storm's answer describes people whose disabilities might make life a little difficult, but mostly different and for them suggesting a cure might be offensive. I feel like Rogue's response describes people whose disability, whether visible or invisible, can make life miserable and would absolutely jump at the chance of a cure.

I want to orchestrate a launch of a bunch of memes in the leadup to the shutdown of reddits 3rd party apps. Not specifically about reddit but lots of site traffic would attract users, and draw people in. I have like 6000 memes, but not a real idea for executing this plan
