In Shanghai and Hong Kong, researchers have found similar results, though they speculate that brain inflammation, not the virus itself, may be a factor in memory loss.
They also worry about the effect of COVID-19 on children’s developing brains:
“These long COVID symptoms, especially memory problems, can significantly affect the self-confidence and development of children in coming years,” the researchers write.
“Children under 10–12 years are supposed to be [in] the most important stages for the brain development, which [implies] that the effects of viral infection on children’s brains can be more destructive.”

Szanując uczucia wszystkich osób – o powikłaniach chorób zakaźnych (od sercowo-naczyniowych po neurologiczne) uczono niżej podpisanego od podbazjum. Nawet dawano przykład, że ktoś przeszedł ileś angin poprawionych zapaleniem płuc, i musiał pójść na nauczanie indywidualne. Wówczas, spadek po komunie, bagatelizowano tzw. immunodeficjencję – "taka twoja uroda: chorujesz co pół roku", a remedium było "nosić czapkę". Dopiero przy SARS-CoV-2 i białku kolczastym (spike protein) zobaczyłem metodologię godną XXI wieku, z symulacjami biomolekularnymi, przewidywaniem deregulacji tzw. układu RAA. (Faktem jest, iż od wielości osób od czasu epidemii [w Bolandzie: 03.'20 r.] słyszę o różnych problemach zdrowotnych – jako racjonalista nie przyjmę anegdot za twarde dane, dopóki nie zostaną rygorystycznie potwierdzone statystycznie-epidemiologicznie; póki co mogę uznawać przesłanki).
