Apologies if this has been asked before, I'm unable to search a community in another instance according to sync for lemmy.

Pretty sure that's a lemmy account setting.
I've got it turret tuned off in lemmy though. Yet it still appears in sync
Really? Have you checked if there's an issue on the github tracker?
