Possibly calcite, especially if it came from limestone rich source.
Is there a closer look at some of the crystal faces? That could help identify it.

It's in a glass case, but I'll see if I could get a better picture tomorrow. I would guess it was collected in Colorado, as it's in a Colorado case.
Not like I'd consider this any good advice, but have you tried tasting it? Looks like some sort of salt crystals if I had to stab a guess in the dark.

Can't taste it, not mine and in a glass case. I'm guessing not salt though.
