A new multi-million dollar recording facility is set to make Wellington's Town Hall the centre piece of the country's film industry and classical music scene.

Fascinating that the place has such world class acoustics even today, it's quite impressive.
- Indeed! Since we were strengthening it already, the 2m donation is great to really squeeze out the best of the investment.
  
  It's always been a stunning hall with fantastic acoustics - why not chuck recording equipment in?
  
  I imagine there's only a handful of places you can record a symphony orchestra anyway, regardless of acoustics.
Hopefully this will help bring more film scoring to NZ for the NZSO
Tangent, but describing a facility as being "multi-million dollar" in 2023 is kinda meaningless - try building anything for less a couple of million
