Love Williams. A great legacy from the No Depression Alt.Country wave of the 90s.
Great music is honestly everywhere, for the longest time I shunned country music as not for me until I heard her. Gave me appreciation for entire genre that I now enjoy
yeah, top 40 country, especially from the late 80s on, really really put a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths for the genre, but old timey country, country & blues from the 70s, early 80s lightly pop country of Rogers and Pardon, and then 90s alternative country really is great stuff. Still tons of indie country going on that's just ignored by people - mostly because modern pop country is dominated by a bunch of MAGA weirdos lol
