DES MOINES, Iowa (WISH) — Former Vice President and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence released his first campaign video Wednesday morning as he embarks on a bid for the nation’s highest office. “My family has lived the American Dream. I had the honor to serve in Congress, as governor, and as your vice preside...
As a Hoosier I can tell you that Pence did very little as governor here, and the most he did as vice president was to run away for his life from the Trump mob trying to murder him.
Well we are talking about the guy that thinks god told him he'd be president one day.... So we know he's not dealing with a full deck.... Also he's got at least two votes... himself and mother.
Iowan here. He did this in Des Moines because we're his vision for America. We lowered the legal age for several types of jobs, including overnight shifts, so late middle-schoolers can get into the workforce earlier to help support their family. We're pinching our lower-income families by transitioning away from a progressive income tax system to a flat tax, so they're essentially pressuring this to happen for lower-income families. After their night shift, they can go be indoctrinated in their public voucher-funded private, religious k-12. We also passed some laws forbidding educational discourse on LGBTQ issues in elementary schools. Mike Pence is almost uncomfortable talking to Iowa without his wife present.
