"According to reports, Agatha All Along garnered roughly 9.3 million viewers in its first 7 days of becoming available on the streaming platform. On the other hand, The Penguin gathered 5.3 million viewers in its first 4 days. However, the caveat is that the latter’s show’s numbers are restricted to the US while the former’s viewership is global."
Strong disagree, Agatha All Along is probably my second favorite MCU show just behind WandaVision.
Now that is comparing the complete Agatha All Along to other completed shows. I hope Daredevil Born Again will beat that, because that would make for an amazing show. I expect it won't, just because of how much I enjoyed Agatha.
Agatha for me had a great story, great characters, great mystery and it all fit together perfectly.
Pacing and scope. If you're going to drop the audience multiple years into the future, you should let them discover what's changed over time gradually. Don't, for instance, have them attend a retirement party and start killing characters. We shouldn't have seen Daredevil until the third or fourth episode. Matt apparently gave up being DD, but he's still wearing all that shit under his I'm Going to A Party clothes.
I don't have Disney+ so haven't seen the new show. I adored the Netflix show. Can you explain what you mean? I may watch the new one eventually, but I am curious.
