Just thought I'd throw open a thread - if you hear any music you think is folk horrory then throw it in.
There is something very primal in the voice and the way its sung.
So, for example, Gazelle Twin and NYX's Deep England album, especially their cover of "Fire Leap".
Daridel - Bodenco - I could definitely see this as the soundtrack to some climatic folk horror scene.
Heilung - Alfadhirhaiti - definitely feels like something ancient and dangerous emerging from the woods
Comus - Diana - very weird and unsettling.
