Well his followers wanted him to run the country like his companies. And with a string of bankruptcies, failures and scams behind him that's exactly what they're getting.
That's an odd moment of apparent truthfulness. He doesn't normally have a problem telling people whatever they want to hear only to golf instead of working on making it happen.
- Because the people listening the most to his answer here are businesses and people with money. He still fears their response.
- Some of us may go bankrupt, but that's a sacrifice he's willing to make.
