The cyclical "disaster" every 5-10 years is simply the system "culling the herd", thinning out the population so there's more wealthy and less poor, every time. Working as designed. Just like gatekeeping our healthcare with a paywall you need to be wealthy to get past. They don't want the poor to exist, so they do things so they cannot survive.
