The infinite wisdom of the City of San Diego... . I'm in PB and the apartments next door finally got their Green containers. Why in the name of Zeus did the city drop four small containers, instead of just one big greeny? Four containers means 4x as much maintenance to keep them clean; 4x as much effort for the truck guy to dump them; 4x as much opportunity for a container to get damaged during its rough life. Dumb move, my great city. I've seen this in many places in the neighborhood. Anybody have any insight into this wisdom that I can't understand?
Are these in a location accessible to random people who want to illegally dump trash like old furniture, appliances or paint? If they are, I see the point of using this style rather than one big roll away but I still think they should have used the standard size bin not the minis.
Yeah you can see a different house number sharpied on each. One large bins means they’d all have to share…decide who brings it out/cleans it every week, etc.
