Got any interesting random region seeds?
I'm trying out a few seeds myself to see what I end up getting. My current favorite, dees1, spawns fucktons of relaxaurus in the starting area, ragnahawks, bushis and celesdirs in the areas of the Petalia and Elizabee bosses, faleris aqua and orserks in the wetlands of Grintale boss, among other interesting spawns.
What are some seeds you folks tried?
I have never messed with seeds, I guess I thought the world was set.
The 4.1 update brought the possibility to use random spawn seeds in world creation. This doesn't affect items or legendaries, though pal bosses will also be randomly placed. You can't change a world or its seed after creation.
I personally recommend Random Region rather than full random, as the latter keeps all the original spawn levels, so you can get 50+ pals in the starting areas. The region seed adapts their level to the zone, so the starting zone pals will be, at max, 29 (pals' level range varies according to some sort of "tier")
Another seed I tried spawned vixies in droves around the grintale wetlands, plus several wandering lyleens of lvl 24-29 and mammorests of lvl 8-13.
I decided to play around a bit and did a 100% random seed.
I was not ready for the level 50 warsect at spawn.
Yeah, playing with full random instead of random regions is a recipe for more deaths than you'd like early on, since it doesn't change pals' original spawning levels. Would be really nice if we could get full random with some leveling calculation instead
