At some point in the video they film a room they can't go into because the SEC would need to be notified. The rack in the room has spools of fiber allocated to various financial institutions so they can have equidistant links for fair trading.
Those big beefy switches had been EoL for several years before they got decommed. The blue spaghetti is the result of migrating off of them. This room was bad before, but after... yeah, this is what happens when companies decide to have a dozen locations but fire all of the DC staff in most of them.

Right? I’m convinced every time I see some ultra fancy network cabinet that they either have some fancy method of making iec 13 cables, a budget to buy a ton of cables in custom lengths (and the time to wait for them to ship), or (imo most likely) they’re hiding an absolute mess behind the nice part
