An attempt to build a skyscraper on an iceberg

I like all the different elements you put into this. It makes me want to find some sort of narrative for it, like maybe the real reason the Titanic sank was because they found out about our penguin overlords. The world governments saw it happen through the submarine, so they had to cover up the real reason for the wreckage.
