  • @[email protected] Fun fact: Ridge Racer 4 comes with a bonus disc containing a slightly improved copy of the original! There are probably a few bugfixes, but the main selling point is that it runs at 60fps.

      It’s a very impressive port as well.
      I just wish they were able to make it a complete version of the original.
      But I guess technical limitations as wel as budget played a big role there.

      I’m not even sure if you could race against cpu opponents in that version. Of if you did, if it was limited to just one car.
      It’s been quite a few years since I last played it.
      Even imported it from Japan to get the best possible version as back then, borders and especially the 50Hz curse was still the norm.
