Someone elsewhere on Lemmy is berating me for daring to take advantage of my dual citizenship and fleeing to the UK with my queer daughter rather than staying in the U.S. and fighting.

Might I recommend Wisconsin? I know it doesn't seem like its that different, but I found it rather like a far better version of Indiana, and it's not far away.
